We are grateful to be able to serve you during this difficult time, and we will work diligently to help you stay healthy and keep moving.
We have been working diligently to ensure that we can continue to care for our patients in need of physical therapy services during this time of COVID-19, whilst also implementing policies and procedures to keep you and our team safe.
Fort Lee Physical Therapy began transitioning certain physical therapy visits to telehealth early on in this pandemic, and we are continuing to offer telehealth appointments.
Telehealth allows our physical therapists to deliver PT services via phone, smartphone, tablet or computer. We are currently using doxy.me for Skype for service delivery.
NJ State approved the use of telehealth visits to encourage physical distancing and allow healthcare providers to safely provide much-needed services to the public safely in their homes. Many insurance companies have quickly adjusted and are covering telehealth visits at the same rate as in-clinic visits.
Fort Lee Physical Therapy clinics remain open for patients in need of in-clinic visits. This can include but is not limited to: post-surgical patients, patients requiring manual therapy, new patient evaluations, re-evaluations, and emergency patient visits to ensure that you are able to receive the care that you need.
Our in-clinic will follow the strictest precautions to protect both patients and Fort Lee Physical Therapy team safety. We continue to ask all patients who do not feel well to stay at home and receive your visits via telehealth.
You can schedule a telehealth appointment here or an in-clinic appointment here.
We are grateful to be able to serve you during this difficult time, and we will work diligently to help you stay healthy and keep moving. Please remember to exercise daily and get outside for some much-needed sunlight. We will get through this together. Please do not hesitate to call our offices if you have any questions.
I am interested in Teletherapy
Fort Lee Physical Therapy now provides a HIPAA compliant telemedicine platform for their patients.
We now offer services at a distance and through video telecommunications in the comfort of the patient’s home. Stay safe and healthy and continue your PT treatment at home with Teletherapy.
Let us know if you have any questions about your treatment, our practice and whatever else is on your mind. We are here to help and we look forward to serving you!
